Pagtatayo ng Cavite-Bataan Bridge project, inaasahang sisimulan ngayong taon

Inaasahang sisimulan ngayong taon ang konstruksiyon ng Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge project ayon sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

Sa press briefing sa Malacañang, kinumpirma ni Public Works and Highways Secretary Manuel Bonoan, na ngayon taon gagawin ang inagurasyon sa Bataan-Cavite bridge na aabot sa 32 kilometro at daraan sa Manila Bay.

“And this will include dalawang big bridges; one of the bridges will be 400 meters and the other one is 900 meters. And this will be, iyong mga bridges na ito will be, iyong mga cable-stayed bridge – if you have seen cable-stayed bridges. And the detail engineering is now ongoing; it’s about 70% complete. And we told the President that it will be ready within the year actually to break ground the implementation of this very significant bridge,”dagdag ni Bonoan.

Sa halip na limang oras ay magiging dalawang oras na lamang aniya ang biyahe kapag natapos na ang Bataan-Cavite bridge.

Nasa P175 bilyon pondo ang ilalaan sa proyekto na magmumula sa Official Development Assistance mula sa Asian Development Bank.
